Please CLEARLY NAME your daughters belongings carefully - only using initials rather than full names, faded markings, and loose or unattached labels contribute to lost property. Clearly named items can be returned easily.
At the end of each term any uncollected property will be donated to charity and our used uniforms shop. Parents are welcome to look through the lost property box which is located near the office foyer.

A leadership day is held for Year 12 students towards the end of the school year, and the concept of servant leadership, the Marist model, is explored. An important feature of this leadership model is that all students in Year 13 are regarded as school leaders. Some of these have designated roles.
On leadership day Year 12 students are invited to fill in a brief resumé about themselves, and to nominate which specific leadership roles they might be interested in, if any, for the next year.
At a later date, all Year 12 students are given the opportunity to vote for 10 students, whom they regard as suitable leadership candidates. It is important to note that they are not voting for a student for a particular role but for students whom they are happy to have lead them. This is a done as a secret ballot and in silence. The staff of the College are also invited to nominate 10 students whom they consider potential leaders. These votes are then combined and counted; these votes are the determining factor in who is appointed to roles for the following year.
One additional factor which may determine which roles are assigned to whom, is the nomination by designated TIC of an area for students, who have demonstrated strengths or commitment in the specific area. Eg. Sport, Performing Arts, Liturgy, or Library, to name a few.
The Senior Leadership Team then decide who will fill each role on the basis firstly of the votes, then the student's own requests for roles which they would like and lastly on the nominations by TIC for specific badges.
As part of our leadership training, students are invited to attend one of two leadership programmes offered through the college- the Marist Youth leader programme or the LOGOS Youth Leadership programme. These occur in January each year.
Finally, a second group of leaders is appointed on Marist Day, as an acknowledgement of their servant leadership, without a badge, throughout the year.
You will be given your login details when you enrol. Your password will be at least 8 characters long and will contain one uppercase letter and one numeral. Please don't share you password with anyone.
If you have trouble logging in, check that you haven't accidentally typed a space before or after your name. If you've forgotten your password, one of your teachers can look it up for you. If you REALLY need your password reset, you can ask your Dean to arrange this for you.
To access your school email you need to get online and go to the webpage. https://outlook.office365.com and then log in using your school computer login.
To set your own device up to connect to the internet through the school wireless you need to open your wireless network settings. The exact process varies depending on what device you have. You need to look for the the network called 'Marist BYOD' and sign in using your school computer login name (not your whole email address) and password.
All students have a Google login associated with their school email address. We haven't set you up for gmail, but you can use Google Drive, Classroom and Calendar. You can log in to Google by clicking on the blue 'sign in' link at the top right of the Google home page screen. Your login is your WHOLE school email address, and your school login password.
As a Marist College student you can get free copies of Office365 software to install on your devices. To do this you need to navigate to https://www.office.com and sign in using your school account. Then look for 'Install Office' on the right hand side.
This is also where you can find your online documents in OneDrive.
